Blogging has become so widespread these days that almost anybody can take part in this endeavor on the Internet. The blogosphere has indeed made it possible for people to express their ideas and opinions in any way they want – no holds barred. However, experts agree that blogging has to be done in a more ethical way to prevent conflicts and legal suits. Bloggers should also be responsible for what they write about since their views are published through a public medium which is the Internet.

Several professional bloggers have come up with their own ethical standards in blogging with the belief that, like journalists, they should also follow some guidelines. Integrity, they say, is tantamount to credibility and this can only be achieved if ethics are observed in blogging.
